Improvement Opportunities
One of the “hazards” of being a lean practitioner is seeing the incredible opportunity around us. Our trained eyes see waste everywhere we go. In this section, we’ll highlight process design and other organizational issues we see as customers and citizens ourselves that present opportunities for organizational performance improvement in any of the five main organizational performance categories – quality, cost, delivery, safety or morale. These missed opportunities often result in lost revenue, employee turnover, loss of customers.
Email us your experiences and observations and we’ll post selected submissions in this section to share with the Lean community. In most cases, we will not name actual companies or organizations but rather just the type of business they’re in.
