Brad Toussaint has 30 years of experience in healthcare provider operations management and performance improvement as both consultant and hospital administrator. In his early career at a two healthcare consulting firms, Brad helped his clients improve performance through process redesign, best practice management principles, and organizational change management methodologies.
Brad began his Lean journey at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford while looking for a better way to improve and sustain organizational performance. As a senior manager, Brad learned Lean management and transformation from the inside. Now leveraging his knowledge of the healthcare industry, his consulting experience, and lean expertise, Brad guides healthcare leaders and practitioners on Lean management system transformation, from strategic planning to tactical execution.
Brad also provides Lean leadership training and has spoken internationally on Lean leadership, Lean transformation, and Lean management systems, in the U.S., Canada, and the Middle East. Brad holds a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University, and briefly worked for his U.S. House Representative in Washington, DC before beginning his consulting career.
