Mary Savoy has over 20 years of healthcare experience that started with acute care nursing and crossed over to industry where she continues to use her clinical knowledge to help clients achieve their goals. Her industry experience spans Lean healthcare; technology, services development, and commercialization; and sales and marketing.
She has contributed to bottom-line results in numerous Fortune 500 companies including Cardinal Health, Hillenbrand Industries, and Merck Pharmaceuticals. Her success is based on a comprehensive approach that brings together clinical, operational, and financial objectives, and an understanding of the business cycle from both the client and the industry perspective.
Her ability to teach, motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve desired results is her strength. She leads value stream improvement projects and problem-solving in both clinical and non-clinical areas, and has deep experience with improving the medication management process and ED patient throughput within acute care hospitals.
Mary earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences from Our Lady of Holy Cross College and her Registered Nursing Diploma from Charity Hospital School of Nursing, both in New Orleans. She holds certificates in Lean, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and Six Sigma.
